Botox and Fillers
Botox - Dysport - Juveau
Frown lines generally occur over time from facial muscles that contract regularly causing creases in the skin. Botox and other nuro-modulators work by blocking the nerve signal to the targeted muscles to temporarily stop the contractions. The treatment is quick and painless. Results are noticeable within 2 weeks of injection and typically last up to 3 months. The amount of product used is determined by the Physician and the intensity of muscle contraction in the area being treated. Each person is unique and results may vary.
Typical areas treated are the glabella (eyebrow), forehead and crow’s feet. The Nefertiti Lift is a popular treatment for the improvement of sagging jawlines & tech neck. Hyperhidrosis, excessive underarm perspiration, may also be treated with BOTOX.
Bruising at the site of injection is possible but can generally be covered with makeup. It is recommended to discontinue use of aspirin, NASID’s, St John’s wart, Vitamin E and fish oil at least 2 weeks prior to treatment to reduce potential for bruising.
Juvederm Ultra/ Juvederm Ultra Plus / Voluma / Volbella / Restalyne Refyne & Defyne / Restylane Kysse & Silk / Radiesse
Lines and wrinkles caused by aging and gravity, typically in the lower half of the face, are treated with injectable cosmetic filler.Each filler has a different purpose from filling fine lines, undereye circles, medium depth lines and loss of volume in the face and lips.Results are immediate although multiple sessions may be necessary for a natural and complete result.Each filler has a different longevity ranging from 6 months up to 2 years and is different among each person.
Juvederm Ultra and Ultra plus, Voluma, Volbella and the Restylane family of injectables are FDA approved fillers containing hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that binds to water to add fullness under the skin. Radiesse is an FDA approved filler composed of synthetic calcium hydroxyapatite (CAHA) microspheres suspended in a gel substance. As the gel dissipates over time, the crystals stimulate collagen production, which helps increase the longevity of the filler.
During the treatment, the physician will determine which product is the best for the area being treated and the desired outcome.A topical numbing cream will be applied prior to treatment for comfort.The physician will inject the filler directly into the skin using an ultra fine needle resulting in minimal discomfort.The procedure is simple and convenient, and the results are practically instantaneous.Following the injection, the physician may rub or massage the area to ensure correct placement.Bruising, redness, swelling, tenderness and lumpiness may occur but generally reside within a few days.
Bruising is the most common side effect and can last up to 2 weeks in some cases.It is recommended to discontinue use of aspirin, NASID’s, fish oil, Vitamin E and St John’s Wart 2 weeks prior to treatment to reduce the likelihood of bruising.Makeup can be used to conceal bruising.Patient’s that have previously suffered from cold sores around the mouth area may require a prescription to prevent a re-occurrence.

What you need to know:
Tixel is a treatment that applies heat directly to the skin to create superficial heated zones that
stimulate collagen production. This makes Tixel great for skin resurfacing that has fine lines,
wrinkles, laxity, discoloration, and scarring. It is usually done in a series of three to four
treatments, depending on the patient, performed every 4 to 6 weeks. Some people may
require additional treatment to achieve desired results. The treatment causes redness and
swelling that can last for as little as 3 days with light treatments and up to 10 days with more
aggressive treatments.

The Excel V can be used to treat conditions ranging from mild to severe with little to no side effects and no need for downtime. Most patients describe an Excel V treatment as feel like a rubber band snapping on the skin. Following a treatment, some patients may experience minimal side effects, such as redness, swelling, or bruising on the treated area, however, these effects will typically disappear within a few hours to a few days.
Depending on a patient’s condition, a series of laser treatments spread out over a period of months in order to achieve full, optimal results. Patients typically see dramatic results after just one session.

CO2RE Fractional
CO2RE is a fractional CO2 resurfacing system that can treat both superficial and deep skin layers simultaneously with precision-control. CO2RE can improve your skin’s tone and texture, minimizing the appearance of sun-damage, scarring, age spots, rough texture, and other imperfections. The treatment is ideal for patients who would like to have younger looking skin without the downtime of a conventional resurfacing procedure.
How It Works
The laser removes micro-columns of skin while leaving the surrounding skin intact to aid in healing. This is called a fractional method. By doing this, the CO2RE is helping to reduce sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, and uneven tones, while stimulating collagen regrowth. A topical anesthetic as well as oral prescription medicines will be utilized to help make the procedure more tolerable. *
After Treatment
Following treatment, skin may feel hot, like a sunburn, and significant redness may occur, lasting approximately five days. The most intense sensation is usually experienced in the first four hours post treatment, and typically resolves within 24 hours. Post treatment care products are supplied and significantly aid the healing process as well as improve results.

Days 1–3 — Skin may still feel like you have sunburn, and swelling peaks around day two or three.

Enlighten 3 Laser
The Enlighten 3 laser uses the latest picosecond technology, combined with 3 unique wavelengths of laser energy to effectively treat most tattoos faster and more completely than with other lasers. our patients find the treatment to be more comfortable than traditional tattoo removal. Because you need fewer treatments it is more cost effective, too. Tattoo removal services may be purchased in discounted packages of 3 or by single treatment.
How It Works
If you think of the ink particles as “rocks,” laser energy is delivered into those “rocks” in very fast pulsations, breaking the “rocks” into “pebbles.” Those smaller “pebbles can then begin to be eliminated by the body. The problem is that the smaller “pebbles” are often not small enough to be completely removed. Enlighten 3 delivers its energy into the tattoo ink at the speed of a picosecond, or one trillionth of a second, making it much more effective in removing the ink more completely. Instead of the energy breaking the “rocks” into “pebbles,” it pulverizes them into “sand.” That is why the Enlighten 3 pico laser is so effective in removing tattoos.

EndyMed Radio Frequency
The EndyMed Intensif RF Microneedle device is FDA approved to help rejuvenate skin by improving skin tone, texture and by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, acne and scars on all skin types. The Intensif RF treatment provides the most effective dermal skin remodeling, deep within the skin to revive and rejuvenate the natural production of new collagen and elastin. Fine lines, wrinkles and scars are greatly improved leaving the skin defined and revitalized. Results can be expected within several weeks, however optimal results typically occur after a series of several treatments.*
The EndyMed Intensif treatment is minimally invasive and is typically well tolerated with little to no downtime. The device uses sterile, high quality, gold plated “microneedles” to safely deliver fractional radio-frequency (RF) energy to the deeper layers of the skin where collagen is stimulated. The treatment is made comfortable with a topical anesthetic cream, and is generally well tolerated. The most common side effects are redness and swelling in the treatment area, which generally resolves within a few days. Post treatment products are provided to aid in healing time.
While some patients will see visible improvements early-on, the optimal results are often seen around 3 months after the full series of treatment is finished. Results can last years depending each patients natural aging process, although maintenance treatments are recommended every 6 to 12 months.

Chemical Peels
Light - Strong Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are an in office method of resurfacing the skin to help soften line and wrinkles, reduce discoloration and reduce pore size. Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is a medium depth peel ideal for someone who wants more results than a superficial peel for skin rejuvenation. Depending on the depth the physician determines, downtime, including cracking, flaking, peeling and redness, can last up to a week. After your treatment, the physician will guide you in post treatment care to minimize these effects.For treatments that do not involve as much downtime, Ada Aesthetics offers varying degrees of light chemical peels.

Kybella
Kybella is the first and only FDA approved nonsurgical treatment that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness, also known as a double chin.The active ingredient in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat.When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella causes the destruction of fat cells.Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.
Kybella treatments involve a series of shots administered by a physician over 2 to 4 sessions, spread over 4 to 6 weeks in between sessions.Depending on the level of correction desired, up to 6 treatments may be needed.
Following treatment the area treated will swell, which shows that it is working correctly.The area may also bruise, have reddness, tenderness and hard areas.These side effects can last for a few days up to 2 weeks.It is recommended to ice the area for 10 to 15 minutes as needed to reduce side effects.
